After leaving his role as the lead vocalist of the British pop group Haircut 100, Nick Heyward launched his first solo album, North of a Miracle, in October 1983. In honour of its reissue today, Townsend Music is offering a giveaway of a Half-Speed Vinyl and Deluxe 3CD Set, which includes a Signed Limited Edition Print from Nick.
Produced by the legendary Geoff Emerick (renowned for his work with The Beatles, Elvis Costello, Badfinger, America, and Supertramp), North Of A Miracle delivered several hit singles, including 'Take That Situation', 'Whistle Down the Wind', 'Blue Hat for a Blue Day', and 'On a Sunday'. Selling over 100,000 copies in the UK, it earned a prestigious Gold Disc Award.
Now expanded into a Deluxe 3CD Edition, this reissue offers a comprehensive collection of Heyward’s early solo work. Disc One presents the original album, remastered from the original stereo tapes; Disc Two compiles a selection of 12” mixes, instrumental versions, and non-album B-sides; Disc Three, titled Recordings 1984, features Heyward’s 1984 singles 'Love All Day' and 'Warning Sign', along with tracks from the accompanying 12” releases.
The 3CD boxset is presented in deluxe 7” packaging with a 20-page booklet featuring a new note from author and journalist Daryl Easlea based on a brand-new interview with Nick Heyward.

Additionally, the North of a Miracle Half-Speed Master Vinyl has been expertly mastered by Barry Grint at AIR Mastering from the original stereo tapes using precision half-speed mastering.
The vinyl is presented in its original gatefold sleeve, pressed on 180-gram heavyweight black vinyl, including an obi strip, a poly-lined inner sleeve, and a 2-page insert for a premium listening experience.
