Reytons - Ballad Of A Bystander

After the partnership between The Reytons and Townsend Music D2C+ gave us our first UK #1 Album with What's Rock And Roll? in early 2023, Rotherham's finest return to D2C+. Working independently, with no label backing, their third full-length album Ballad Of A Bystander is set for release on January 26.

The latest single to be released from the upcoming album is the anthemic 'Nineteen Crimes', which saw its exclusive first play on Clara Amfo's 6PM show on BBC Radio 1.

Ballad Of A Bystander is available exclusively on a multitude of vinyl formats including Heavyweight Vinyl Picture Disc, Luke Horton Alternative Cover, Gold Heavyweight Vinyl, Red Vinyl and Paint Pallet Splatter Vinyl alongside Cassette, Signed CD and Signed Black Vinyl.

Kula Shaker - Natural Magick

Psychedelic rock firebrands Kula Shaker join forces with Townsend Music D2C+ for the release of their forthcoming album Natural Magick. Boasting the return of the four original members of the band, return single 'Waves', a grooving, Eastern-tinged slice of vintage Kula, splashed straight onto BBC Radio 2 and Absolute Radio playlists.

With their foremost line-up's return, the band promise the wild energy that we know and love. Natural Magick incorporates blazing psychedelic sermons, raga rave-ups, stardust-coated pop pearls and mood-enhancing mantras, encapsulated on the album's title track.

Set for release on February 2, Natural Magick is on available to pre-order on Exclusive Pinwheel Colour Vinyl, Signed CD, and Exclusive Turquoise Cassette.

Little Man Tate - Welcome To The Rest Of Your Life

Sheffield indie band Little Man Tate made their long-awaited return in August of 2023 with new track 'Undercover Lovers', their first piece of music in over a decade and a taster of new album Welcome To The Rest Of Your Life, slated for a February 2024 release.

Picking up right where they left off over ten years ago, Welcome To The Rest Of Your Life captures the four-piece’s original indie charm with a nod to the lives, loves and losses they’ve experienced during their time on hiatus, captured on new single 'Cheap Stolen Kisses'.

"It’s still Little Man Tate… it’s just Little Man Tate a bit more grown up!” - Jon Windle, Little Man Tate

Welcome To The Rest of Your Life is available to pre-order on Signed Limited Edition Blue Vinyl, Signed CD, and Limited Edition Cassette alongside exclusive merchandise, with a February 23 release.

This Rebel - This Rebel

November 2023 saw the announcement of an intriguing new signing to TM D2C+ with This Rebel. Spearheaded by renowned producer/sound engineer Jon Simcox and Phil Etheridge (The Twang), alongside longtime friend Jonny Scott (Chvrches) and vocalist Cat Matigue (Tom Grennan) the crew coalesced during Lockdown to create This Rebel's first self-titled record.

Describing the project's debut single 'Heartstopper', Gigslutz enthused: "The Twang frontman Phil Etheridge and engineer to the stars Jon ‘Simmo’ Simcox team up to hit the sweet-spot with a sublime debut release". 'Heartstopper' was supported by John Kennedy ( Radio X ) who made the track his X-Posure ‘Hot One’ #1, and the track was declared Track Of The Day on This Feeling, XS Noise and Indie Music.

New single 'Same Every Time', released today, peels back another layer of this captivating project.

This Rebel is available on Signed Heavyweight Vinyl, Signed CD and Digital Download, set for a March 8 release.

Look out for next week's Townsend Music D2C+ Spotlight (Part 2), featuring releases by Kaiser Chiefs, Starsailor, Feeder and Good Cop Bad Cop.
